FAQ & troubleshooting
- BlinkOTP did not detect my code
- Some sites hide OTPs in non-standard elements or iframes. Try selecting the code manually or refreshing after the SMS/email arrives. Report the site URL if detection should work.
- Is my OTP history stored in the cloud?
- No. History and settings stay in chrome.storage.local on your device unless you clear them.
- Can I disable clipboard access?
- Use in-extension copy only if clipboard permission is disabled, or revoke clipboard permission in Chrome extension settings.
- How do I delete stored codes?
- Use clear history in the popup if available, or uninstall the extension to remove all local data.
- How do I contact support?
- Email hi@brkmb.com with BlinkOTP version, Chrome version, and steps to reproduce. Do not send live OTP codes in email.
