BlinkOTP is a Chrome extension that helps you capture and use one-time passwords (OTPs) from web pages. This policy describes what the extension accesses and how that information is handled.

Data collection disclosure

The following describes user data, permissions, and page context the extension may access.

  • OTP codes detected on pagesWhen you use BlinkOTP, it may read OTP text visible on the active page or in notifications you interact with, solely to surface or autofill codes you request. Codes are processed locally in the browser.
  • Extension preferencesUI settings and optional history of recently used codes — stored in chrome.storage.local on your device unless you clear them.
  • Clipboard (when you choose)If you use copy/autofill actions, the extension may write an OTP to your clipboard at your direction. We do not upload clipboard contents to our servers.

Permissions

  • storagePersist your settings and optional local OTP history on the device.
  • activeTab / scriptingDetect OTP patterns on the page you are viewing when you invoke BlinkOTP.
  • clipboardWrite (if enabled)Copy a code to your clipboard when you explicitly request it.

Single purpose

All access is limited to BlinkOTP's core function: helping you find, copy, or autofill one-time passwords you are already receiving in the browser. Data is not used for advertising, analytics, or unrelated tracking.

No sale or sharing of user data

We do not sell, rent, or share user data, OTP content, or browsing information with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

Data retention & deletion

OTP history and settings remain on your device in chrome.storage.local until you clear them, reset the extension, or uninstall BlinkOTP. We do not maintain server-side copies.

Clear data via the extension settings, uninstall BlinkOTP, or remove extension storage in Chrome. Contact hi@brkmb.com for assistance.

Third parties

BlinkOTP does not use third-party analytics or ad networks. Chrome Web Store distribution is governed by Google's policies.
